Identity Data: When you sign up, we collect your name, email address, and profile image from your authentication provider. This allows us to personalize your experience and communicate with you.

Content Data: You provide YouTube URLs and upload MP4 files for processing. We use this content solely to generate short viral clips for you. We do not use your content for any purpose other than delivering the service you request.

Usage Data: We track how many clips you generate, which features you use, and basic analytics to understand product usage and improve the service. This helps us fix bugs and build features that matter to you.

Payment Data: All payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. We do not store or handle your credit card details. Lemon Squeezy is PCI-DSS compliant and handles all payment information securely.

Your data is used to power the QuickClip.lol experience:

We process YouTube videos you submit to identify the most engaging moments and generate short clips. Our AI analyzes content to suggest viral-worthy segments. We render animated captions using FFmpeg and auto-reframe videos to 9:16 for TikTok, Reels, and Shorts. You can download MP4s or export clips in bulk as a ZIP file.

We send transactional emails (e.g., receipts, password resets, and important account notifications) when necessary. We also use your data to improve our service, fix issues, and develop new features.

We store your data in Supabase. Data is encrypted at rest and in transit. Supabase uses industry-standard encryption and security practices. We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you services and comply with legal obligations.

We use OpenAI in our service.

You have the right to access, correct, and delete your personal data. You can also request an export of your data. To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@quickclip.lol. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. If you are in the EU, you may also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

We use cookies only for authentication sessions. These are essential for keeping you logged in and securing your account. We do not use tracking or advertising cookies.
